Sandra Scarcella is a highly experienced capability and economic development professional with more than 20 years in senior roles across the Queensland Government. As a Principal Capability Development Officer with the Cairns Manufacturing Hub, she supports local manufacturers to access skills and training programs, strengthens industry collaboration, and drives initiatives that grow and diversify the region’s manufacturing sector.
Sandra brings extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, regional development, project coordination and executive support, having contributed to major funding outcomes and industry-led initiatives across Far North Queensland. With qualifications in Business and Leadership & Management, she is known for her strong communication skills, operational insight and commitment to building regional capability and economic resilience.
